Hi Joel,

Thank you very much for sending this alert, and there was actually a problem with the character sets and collations after upgrading to WordPress 2.2. The database of the Journal has now been converted to UTF-8, and the feeds of the Journal through Feedburner updated. It seems the problem has been resolved. However, you may still find the broken feeds for certain period of time on some sites, I guess the reason for this is that those sites have cached the old feeds that need to be updated.

Also pointed out in your massage that there shall be clearly-shown ways of contact on the site, so the Journal added a link to the contact page on the top of this page.

Thanks again.

Hi. I'm your subscriber from ChinaHopeLive.net. I was looking for another way to contact you but couldn't find any.

I've been having problems with you RSS feed in Bloglines. First, it kept giving me the same article every time, instead of the new articles. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing. Now I get this error message under the title of each article in your feed:

WordPress database error: [Illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) and (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation 'match']
SELECT posts.*, MATCH ( posts.post_title, posts.post_content ) AGAINST ( 'wei yu minister of education china vice minister science' ) AS mysql_score FROM wp_posts as posts WHERE posts.post_date_gmt 143 AND ( posts.post_password = '' ) AND ( post_status = 'publish' ) GROUP BY posts.ID ORDER BY mysql_score DESC LIMIT 5

Just wanted to make sure you knew. Keep up the good work!
